Still pretty focused on food. I've been reading French Kids Eat Everything. In a nod to the book, I put a tablecloth on the table and lit the candle. Beyond aesthetics, the book is challenging me to put more effort into the content of our meals, and not simply accept and cater to the boys' inclination toward a limited palate. Hence, dinner tonight was an attempt at meeting in the middle. Summer squash soup garnished with flat leaf parsley followed by steamed green beans and pizza made with store bought crust and topped with garlic stuffed olives. A few cherry tomatoes on the side and dessert of strawberries and a peach.
